Thought for the Day: Parallel Universes and would I take that first step, if I knew?

Well, I’m beyond the border, between the sky and the earth, and the skeletal treesare haunted and gently rustletheir dry leaves.

If I knew yesterday what I knowtoday, would I begin again,with courage, to climb this mountain?… to take that first step up from the safe, moss covered ground, onto that sheer, rock, mountain face.?

I’II never know, of course, unless I can see the outcome in a parallel universe, take a peek through the misty glass.

But then there will be so many, endless in fact, parallel universes that I won’t know which one to interpret as mine and of course that defeats the object and makes them pretty unhelpful to me for prediction purposes anyway.
