“First Step into the Unknown” song by Tony Chapman.
This is the first idea that came. . a stream of consciousness poem. Just letting it flow out. I didn’t know it would become a song, although I did write a repeatable chorus line, which is very helpful when writing songs:

I teach guitar. In these lessons I sometimes ask the student to write lyrics, while I write my own lyrics. It’s a space, protected by the Lesson… no-one or nothing can disturb us. It really works. In this busy life … it’s like a globe of protection around us as we write. It really works.
